Areas Covered

Kali routinely covers areas within 70 km/45 miles or a maximum 60 minute journey time from Burmis, AB. Please note that travel costs may apply depending on your location. Travel within a 30 km (20 mile) radius of Burmis, AB is currently free of charge. However, for distances beyond this range, a surcharge may apply per kilometer. This surcharge will depend on whether Kali has other bookings in your area on the same day. Kali does book at general locations and will try to group bookings in the same area to reduce travel costs where possible.
Kali is happy to book clients who are outside of her routine area, please send her a message to inquire.

Payments

Kali requests that payments be made via e-transfer. For other payment methods (bank transfers, credit cards, debit cards) please contact Kali for further details.

Disclosure
​​
​Kali is enrolled in the International Diploma of Animal Osteopathy program through the London College of Animal Osteopathy. She has recently completed the Equine Diploma, has obtained an additional certification in Advanced Equine Osteopathic Techniques and is continuing to complete the Canine portion of the program. With an in-depth knowledge of the horses anatomy, her training allows her to detect and treat musculoskeletal related problems.
Her training allows her to detect and treat muscles and muscular related problems. She is not a veterinarian and will recommend that a horse is seen by a vet if she deems that this is appropriate and/or if the conditions found are outside of her professional field. To work within her duty of care to both you and your horse, if your horse is currently under veterinary care, Kali requires veterinary permission prior to treating your horse. If your horse is currently in good health, veterinary consent is not required, however to work within her duty of care Kali will ask you to confirm the practice your horse is registered with and will need to be informed of any pathologies that are identified during assessment and treatment. If Kali attends an appointment and is unable to treat the horse as they need to be referred to a vet, a partial amount will still be due.

Kali also has a diploma in Equine Science through the University of Guelph, specializing in Advanced Equine Health through Nutrition.

Please ensure your horse is clean and dry prior to treatment. If Kali attends an appointment and is unable to treat the horse due to the horse being wet and/or muddy the full treatment cost is still due. Please be honest about your horse’s nature and/or willingness to be handled. Kali will always do her best to treat your horse however if she feels the situation is too dangerous she may stop treatment at any time.

Cancellation Policy
​
Occasionally you may need to cancel your appointments at short notice but Kali does kindly request as much notice as possible if you need to re-arrange your appointment.
Cancellation less than 24 hours before appointment - full treatment cost due.
Cancellation less than 48 hours before appointment - half treatment cost due.
Cancellation more than 48 hours before the appointment - no charge.
